Services
|
The IEEE Student Branch at Carleton University offers a wide variety of services to students. Our McNaughton Resource Centre, popularly known as the "IEEE Office", is located in the Mackenzie building, room 4238ME. At the IEEE Office, student volunteers provide services that will help other students be ready for exams, finish assignments, write lab reports, prepare resumés and stay cool! For more info: IEEE Carleton would like to thank all its volunteers
for their time and hard work. Interested in volunteering? Often, courses in engineering have a lot of material to be covered in class and students will take notes. Note taking can be a rather time-consuming task and students will not keep up with the pace that the material is presented. To ease this process, professors provide IEEE Carleton with course notes. These notes are printed in booklets and sold to students at a discounted price. IEEE Carleton also carries Lab Manuals for a variety of courses.
Printing, Scanning, Supplies, Internet Access Single-sided self-service laser printing (Letter size), envelopes, and computer disks are available for all students at a small charge. Students may also use tape, a heavy-duty stapler and a hole puncher, and a high-resolution scanner, all free of charge.
Photocopying A New photocopier with an automatic feeder is
available at the McNaughton Resource Centre. The photocopier is
supplied by Carleton University Graphic Services and requires a
valid Carleton University student card with funds to make copies. |
