Welcome to IEEE Carleton Student Branch!

Although the IEEE (Eye-Triple-E) is short for Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, it is a professional society which encompasses numerous fields of engineering and science. With more than 360,000 members in 150 countries, it is by far the largest professional organization in the world.

Carleton's IEEE branch offers numerous educational, technical, and professional advantages through special events, competitions, projects, activities, meetings, tours and field trips. We have won the award for most active student branch in Canada several times, come and find out why.





Pre-ordering is now closed, there are some notes already in the office, but more are being printed. All notes will be here by Jan 20. Until Jan 27, only people that pre-ordered will be able to get them. Afer that it will be first come first serve.



Highlights from last year:

Connects! 2009: Networking session at the Sheraton Hotel, 120 students 40 industry representatives.
Battle Royale: Round 2 was one of our most successful events with 100 gamers and lots of prizes.
CodeJam 2009: Ever since this was introduced in 2007, the number of participants has continued to grow. This year saw 50 students battle for first place.
